Yup, there is a project for open server and it is called the open sim…. and it is not the same as Linden’s plands for opening their server software which also exists but nobody knows when it will happen, and what will happen once they make that move.

Thanks, Dandellion, for the info i heard there is a project for a “open server” (maybe OpenSim) and had some confussion.

BTW, AjaxLife is not a server, it is just a web client to SL.
Legal and moral problems sometimes do collide, but that doesn’t make LL stand straight in this case. It really becomes “Your world, Our restrictions”.
