The "Small Story" by Arahan Claveau

かわいい (Cute), originally uploaded by Raul Crimson.

Yes, he is pure cutesy, not only his avatar, is a friend i have in my heart. I met Arahan Claveau some time ago, in his “Super Fun Happy Club” installation. “Super Fun Happy Club” was really political and controversial, this was its power, the power to show homophobia, to shock us with the contradictions of the suppossed “gay” attitude and the attacks (including Death Penalty) in the world.

Arahan Claveau 無くなった (Lost)

Now Arahan (near “the boy” above) presents his new work: “Small Story” dedicated to his friend Minx Naumova who died last december.

Arahan explains through images the story of a boy who decides to find his way in the world, finding adventures, meeting people. With this new work Arahan explores the possibilities of expression of SLphotography opening new paths that will be followed for sure.

“Small Story” has already attracted from a RL publisher and even The Avastar (the infamous SL tabloid) has dedicated a full page (page #5) in its last edition.

    Great post Raul!
I’ve seen Arahan’s work and his photos in “a tale without words” definitely said a thousand words. Very Expressive indeed!

I’ve just watched this through again and it still makes me cry, for so many reasons I can’t begin to explain here. Arahan has created something magical with this story and I look forward to seeing it continued.
