Windlight is back

Finally, not only Torley Linden has it!

Well, Windlight, as most of the new things, has good sides and bad ones, but in this case the good ones are… SOOOO GOOOOOOD!!!!

First the good things… as you can see it looks really nice!!! you can edit the sky and water in the way you want, the reflexions can be great, it adds a new perspective to SLphotography. You can save your changes in sky and water as “presets”, this presets will be saved in the inventory as an “object” (this possibility is still not available, it will be when Windlight arrives to the “main client”) so the “presets” will be objects you can give or sale to other residents, opening a new possibility of business. Well, there is a lot of good things on Windlight, but…

There are also bad things, actually Windlight is in the “First Look” viewer, so is still in test, but is full of bugs, specially with some textures, crashes and problems with local lightning. You can see a list of the “More voted bugs of Windlight” in this page of the SLjira. Not only the bugs in themselves are the only problem, some computers are having problems with Windlight and Graphic Cards drivers.

Windlight is wonderful, even with all that problems. I just hope Linden Lab fix them all as soon as possible, this way all the residents will have the oportunity to enjoy it.
