Sad the case of Ced Elman, his tool and textures are great, and he is doing a great work for the community.

I understand too when you say: “Although, I secretly hope someone will use even ONE of mine!” but, you know, i can feel really honored if someone ask me to have a copy of one of my pics, but stole it and using it commercially is just no cool.

Still, this is wrong and illegal – try to keep track of his other ads, and if he just “blows you off” by removing just that single ad or by replying with a “No, get lost, stupid.” message. My suggestion if that happens: Send a DMCA report to Linden and simultaneously start a riot against him :P . Linden don’t always look in DMCAs like they should, see here for an example regarding a steal-and-resell action of SculptyPaint and SculptPacks. That one really made me furious.
