Torley is awesomazing our experience… or something like that
I want to say it, i’m a big fan of Torley.
Lately some “critics” against Torley appeared in blogs, forums and other places. They criticise his apparent… how to say it?… “fake happiness”. He wrote a really interesting post about that.
I’m not writing this post because i think he needs a defense or something, as you can say in his post he can do it himself alone. Torley is not perfect, but is himself (even if he were a character, what is not), and that’s why i’m think he is so cool.
The photo below is taken in Here, the new Torley’s island. Really nice and interesting place, kinda trippy but full of imagination. Anyway, if you don’t like neon pink and neon green colours… better don’t go then. 
Well, i’m sure you know Torley enough, so i’ll just say my opinion about him. First, he rocks! He is the only Linden that pushes our moral up even in the worse moments. Second, his Videotutorials. I learned a lot thanks to them, since basic scripting, nice tricks and some nice things more. Third, his Office Hours, i was there a couple of times, and he always listens and tries to answer your questions. Write yourself the fourth reason in the comments.

Personally I consider Torley to be one of the few Linden representatives who actually understand the experience from a users point of view. I really like Torley and think from a PR point of view he is excellent, he was probably the first Linden to talk to us, actually talk to us.
He certainly always manages to make me smile something no other Linden has managed.
My 4th Reason why I like Torley: Torley is not afraid to be himself and he’s not afraid to tell you “he likes himself”. I love that!
Torley always seems real to me. Why do people have to think that kind of happiness and belief in oneself has to be fake? However, my favourite thing about Torley is the wonderful sets of textures he has created and gives away for free. So much fun for anyone with imagination to play with!!!

And as Phoenix says, he is sharing not only his knowledge, he also shares his creations, his textures and stuff.
I’m not so good with the technical stuff, but what I love about Torley is he makes it all feel so accessible even to me!
