New Year purrrrposes
The last day of the year… Well, i know this is just a convention, not something natural, but what’s culture and society but some conventions? When end of the year arrives it seems some feel the need of try to find a balance of our life and see what can be better someway. That last year in SL had a lot of changes for me, time there seems to run fast and everything is so dynamic and subject to changes. Sometimes it changes so fast that you feel lost, people come and goes, everything come and goes there. For the ones who are “off” i’d like to send a postcard:
After this melancholy moment here they come the purposes for my next SLyear:
- Do something with that “procrastination syndrome” i’m having and start working hard in the things i want to do.
- Tell my friends someway, at least once a month, how important they are for me.
- Open a new store. I create a lot of stuff that some people may like (poses, gestures, objects, clothing…) and sure it may be fun to have a store again after i closed some time ago my furniture shop.
- Delete from my inventory a lot of stuff, including a “Hooooooo!” gesture (Yeah, i confess i have one of those).
- Work on an exhibition i had in mind for a long time, something interesting, including Art, Panels, … all kind of expression related to the theme (won’t tell the theme for the moment, is a sekret!
). - Try to know better some people i met recently.
- Laugh more, explore more, have more …
Well, i tried to not aim too high with the purposes so i hope all will be done… even before next December 31st.
Oh… almost forgot it… HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Indeed new beginnings, Raul. Wow, such a list, you will be constantly in motion, I’ll just see a blur go past : ) New Year’s Greeting to you, and may the new year bring peace in the world, in all those areas that must worry about surviving the day, rather than the lag and other problems of life in SL.
May I be the first to say “Thank you” for your friendship, we all should tell our fellow people, either FL or SL, how much they mean to us, as you say. You are creative, helpful, just, wise and above all, you inspire your friends and dear blog readers to be their best. May your list be completed !

A very good year…but an emotional one as well.
SL has afforded me the opportunity to explore my many facets…resulting in much chaos and confusion – not only for me, but for those around me as well. My SL resolutions:
1. Make certain that my friends know that I love them deeply
2. Explore my “art”, if it can be called that, more deeply
3. Treasure what time I can spend in SL, and appreciate the people I have time to spend it with
4. Find an avatar which I can feel safe, secure and comfortable living in – and shy away from the chameleon of chaos I was last year
5. Give a smile, a caress and words of encouragement to someone who touched my heart and soul.
Raul, my life is brighter and more full because of your friendship. Of all the things I’ve missed during my absence from SL these last months, the absence of your gentle presence has hurt the most. I wish you nothing but happiness, success, love and miracles in the new year – you, above all people, deserve these things.

I have many of the same aims for when I return to the grid. There’s a lot of this way of thinking around at the moment it seems. Happy New Year to you Raul. I hope we find time to catch up in the not-to-distant future
