I for one HATE this. The most basic of all reasons I have, is that with OnRez, you could list AND sell, not only for free both inworld and on the web, but OnRez supplied vendors to sell your stuff easily inworld. Now, with OnRez going defunct, and SLX or XStreet not having ANY vendors for use with the site, it will pu a major squeeze on those of us who sell via vendors (low prim) at shopping areas. I could use a 10 prim vendor and sell 100+ different items in it. Now I have to decide... rent 100+ prims? or, find a new way/place to sell, or, just give it up to.

I feel rather bummed.

For many people, the grid is all about one or both of the following 2 aspects: community or creativity.

LL lately has taken several steps to make the creative aspect less attractive.
Sure, we're still allowed to create, and to show, share, sell and do as we please with our creations, but the freedom of creation and whatever we do with our creations is being cut in certain ways... ways that simply are making creating in itself less enjoyable.

As result, the thought crossed my mind today if the community aspect of SL would be enough for me to stay in SL.
I stopped thinking about it after 2 seconds because I hope it'll never come to that.
If LL continues to take more fun out of the platform however, to a point that people who create will no longer benefit from it, I'm back to that question I did not want to think of right now, and am forced to make up my mind on it.

I'ld really urge LL to stop cutting feathers of the already weakened wings of what makes SL so special and loved by it's residents before it's too late, and the residents do an "account harakiri".
