Some like a fashion post #9: Crimson’s Secrets?

Crimson's Secrets

Maybe is not a secret anymore i have a female alt, but actually was not a secret. ;-)

Since this is a new year and my blog have a new appearance i thought in doing something else new, a “fashion blogpost” for women. Anyway, the outfit was not intentional, just wanted to make her look good and that was the result of some exploration in some shops and a few of imagination, but when i saw the result the show of “Victoria’s Secrets” came to my mind.

Is interesting how we percieve avatars, for me Raul is totally me, an expression of myself, and this one is some like a toy i use for pics or to dress her like a doll, that’s why i don’t socialize with her. But this topic deserves a full blogpost.

    RAWR! I’d hit it.

I know exactly what you mean Raul; I have a female alt also, and she is my business tool. I have to promote designers through my Rezzable work and it’s way easier to do that with her for various reasons. But she is just a doll av and I don’t identify with her at all. Whereas I don’t see Winter as an avatar, I see him as ME.

  2. Raul Crimson says :

I agree with you, Winter, my friend.
Sometimes I love some female stuff i find around, and sometimes i wear it in my main avatar too, but i love also to create a new full appearance for my female alt, it’s really a fun game.

I have NEVER wanted a male ALT of any kind ( I mean ewwwwwww ~laughs~ ) but some decent androgynous suits shaded for wimmin would be smokun in a sophistimikated kind way. More Lilli Marlene than feigning Businesswoman show them your fahbulous thighs and bewbs type .

    ~rant over I’m going shopping, yaaaaaaa haw~

    Mr R.C I lurve you ~heart~

    ( made you laugh ! )

Someway having a female avatar gives you more “creative freedom” in clothing since, as in FL, there are much more options for female than for male.
And that’s not only a question of wearing clothes meant for the other gender, actually i have some “female clothes” i may use for my male avatar, is those clothes are meant for female and look better on female.

And Ms. EW.. i lurve you too!!! :-D

I’ve considered the male AV as an experiment I guess, about as close as I’d ever get to the ‘male’experience’, what ever that is. Passing thought eally , over the amount effort it would take ( and cost ) to do it well. I wasn’t making any kind of jugement call on anyone’s choice to do both , either or alternate. Just not alluring enough to go there I guess.

Lord knows I love the ‘Blindfold and corset’ piece of yours. Thats more about expressing confidence in sensuality to me though. Owning the kink .

As to cross dressing intentionally or not I know that generations of woman ( and men ) fell in lust for the first time AND came out about it , with Dr Frankenfurter in RHPS and I profess to be one. I had the most massive pre teen crush on Tim Curry. He was so dom though in that role , so I’m ruling out his attire over his sensual/sexual confidence once again. Damn you did that well Inworld Raul, I shivered with delight when you called over to Patron in that AV at Halloween ~laughs~

  6. Cocoa Adored says :

I have once created a male alt in which I ran around in probably like 4-5 times. I used it to travel unnoticed in some RP sims, hehe. But, I got bored being someone I dont identify with at all, so I dont use it anymore.
But I must say, I got hit on by women a LOT when I tried a male av! I hardly get hit on when I travel as myself in my female av. That did startle me. And I thought men were visual!

  7. Raul Crimson says :

Oh, Cocoa, i think women are even more visual, but maybe we both are wrong and it depends on the person. Anyway, as i said is weird for me to socialize with this alt since i don’t feel identified with her, even is an expression of myself as my main AV is.
