Pasión… exhibition at Kirkness Art Center
The Kirkness Art Center was so nice to invite me to organize an exhibition of some of my works in their gallery in Hinterland.
After a talk with Edvard (the curator of the gallery) we though in the name: Pasión (Spanish word for passion) because is that what is all about.
I think is quite a personal exhibition, in the sense the images show my real passions, what i consider erotic, my dreams… even sometimes my fears. I presume that’s what most of my images are about.

Das Glashaus – Exhibition by Andromega Volare and Iam Yumako
Yesterday visited the exhibition of iam Yumako and Andromega Volare at Das Glashaus. What a nice surprise!
I know the work of Andromega, he is, under my point of view, one of the best photography “landscapers” of Second Life, his work goes from the surreal to the beauty of a sunset. The big surprise was the work of iam Yumako, i know him a bit from Flickr, but seeing in-world some of him works was a delightful surprise!
Both creators together are a perfect complement, the surreal world of Andromega next to the personal universe of Iam.
Is really good to see creators like this in Second Life, you know, when i was a bit tired of seeing always the same in SLphotography then i see this exhibition and my faith is renewed.
And i was so lucky because i met Iam there, he was really nice and gave me a personal tour in the gallery… and well, as you can see in that pic, he is superCUTE!!!
The building of the exhibition, Das Glashaus, is built by Iam. Some Windlight settings are recommended in a notecard at the arriving, please, try to use them in order to enjoy the exhibition as the creators imagined it.

Some weeks ago, as i said in a previous post, I opened a small SLphotography show at The Cannery by Rezzable. The show will there until June 12nd.
I think is a good moment to say thanks. A lot of visitors, a lot of comments, notecards, interesting chats with people there…
Also a lot of contacts and possible future collaborations. Some people was asking why the framed images were not for sale. Well, most of the images were posted in Flickr, and to sell an image from Flickr, even being mine, well, i think is not OK, so what i did is just give free copies to the ones that asked for one (of course, with “no copy” on ).
If i decide to set copies for sale on an exhibition will be in limited editions and, of course, images not previously released in Flickr in my public stream.
Dream bits… an exhibition.
Tomorrow i will open another small exhibition of my SLphotography at Jaid Marsi‘s gallery. It will be part of the artshow playing at Raglan sims, this sims are tiny… not tiny the sims themselves, i mean they are meant and ruled by tiny residents.
There you will find a new image “The creation of the biggie”, is exclusive and will be the only one for sale, 50% of the sales will be donated to the maintenance of the gallery, and the other 50% will be donated to Relay for Life (a project to fight against cancer).
At the gallery you will find not only my works, also awesome images by Jaid Marsi, Silverdrake Sparrow and some other artists.
