Rememberance
Yesterday morning i visited the Linden Memorial Park (SLurl), one of the newest works of the LDPW (Linden Department of Public Works). It is a good place to think about people is not here anymore.
After more than two years in Second Life one meets a lot of people, people that come and go, people who only shares with you a second… or much more, friends, lovers, problems and smiles. So i was thinking there about it, about all the people that came to my life and had to go, thinking about those moments, those great moments.
The love i have for my friends doesn’t make me forget all that ones, sometimes they had to go for good reasons, sometimes not so good ones, but they left in my heart a piece of themselves. From here i’d like to say “Thanks” for this pieces.
Fantastic 4 in SL… well, at least 3 are fantastic
This is just a small video (or machinima) i filmed in Second Life© with some really good friends.
I bought a new computer one month ago and still haven’t tried it for filming, the old one had low RAM and VRAM memory and the old videos are a bit… jumpy. But this looks quite better for what i see.
Also was a way to tell this good friends how important are for me, they are one of the best reasons for anything, they are smiles, love, joy and great moments. Thanks to them.
Forgetting and remembering…
Lately I was having some like… how to say it?… like some existential doubts kinda: “what for all that?”… I’m sure you know what i mean. I mean asking oneself questions like: “Why i like to create images?”, “Why i like to post them in Flickr?”, “Do i need to see all that stupid dramas around (even are not related to me)?”, …
For all that was not making images later, just a few ones, or just some RL pics to share only with friends in Flickr.
Yesterday had a long conversation with my dear Khamudy about all this, and was so good, feel relieved someway expressing all my thoughts about that. This conversation helped me to find again my reasons and the passion of making images, of sharing my vision on Second Life.
Thanks, Khamy Kham, for that conversation and for your friendship.
Personal report
Another self-portrait in another Windlight sunset, originally uploaded by Raul Crimson.
Surely now you know i like to write a post sometimes as a resume of what is happening in my Second Life, even sometimes they can be a bit confusing. That is one of those…
I’m feeling OK, not so much time on last week (had things to do in RL) but the time i was on was fun to have time with some friends (specially a totally crazy evening with Keiko and Ilian), taking some pictures, and work in some “business” (new offers at the store, some custom work, …).
With Soldeus, i feel really OK, maybe sometimes we have small misunderstoods (different languages, he he he), but we enjoy each other, having time together when we both can and want, understanding we need our own space as creators and respecting each other. No partnership, no promises, just enjoy our time together being truthful with each other.
I’d like to talk a bit about something i saw lately in some dear friends: They feel bad because there is a difference between what they want to be, or what they think they are, and the perception the others have about them, or what the others expect them to be or act. I was talking with friends about it, and i will say here what i said them all: “Be truthful to yourself, to what you think, to what you want or need (always respecting the others, of course). If the others like it, perfect, if not, sorry, but they should build a bridge and go over it.” Sorry if i seem radical about this, is just i want my friends (and myself) to feel good, and to feel good you don’t have to care about what others think or this can make you really unhappy.
About creation, photography and all that….. some projects in mind, i’m building a new gallery, but the project is still a work in process, so i don’t want to post about it for the moment. Anyway, next post will be about one exhibition is on right now.
Variety show
Not alone this sunset…., originally uploaded by Raul Crimson.
A small post to talk about my Second Life lately, is not my SL is a Variety Show (sometimes it almost is), is just that i want to talk about some different things.
As always good friends around, last week i was doing Tai Chi with Wolf Hartnell while he visited my place, was a great moment talking about the human and the divine things.
Also, as you can see in the pic above, i met someone “special”
and we are enjoying time together, knowing each other better and respecting each own space. No plans, just to live the moment, and i like the way is going (no more comments here
).
Do you remember i had an art gallery? Well i decided to open a new one (YAY!) in a sim called Dormillouse, still building it, but i think the name will be Assets SL Gallery, have to see if the name is not in use.
About SLphotography, you saw surely my Flickr stream, enjoying Windlight. Happy also becuase i won the Second Prize (ex aequo with Nephie Eerie and Kean Kelly) at the last exhibition at The Cannery. Mia Olivier won the first price with a great pic called Cyber Angel.
So you can see, varieties in this post.
