The "flesh market"
I’m not a big clubber. I enjoy going dancing from time to time, sometimes 4 times in a week, sometimes i stay months without visiting a club (actually i’m the same RL). But one “special kind” of clubs are the gay ones, really…
I presume is because there we all are male, so we are quite… how to say it?… sexually active? horny? well, anyway, is most of the gay clubs there use to exist a high sexual tension, sometimes just too much tension…

Don’t misunderstand me, i love SLex, but well, i presume i turned slightly selective with the time. 
Anyway, to show that “flesh market” i will tell you a real story, i’ll change the names to protect the privacy of the protagonists.
Two friends of mine are partnered in SL, both are quite attractive, sexy and cool people, i will call them Ken and Roland. Some days ago Ken was bored in SL, Roland was not online, and he decided to go to dance and have fun in a famous gay club in Second Life. After a while dancing and being in nice chat with the people there Ken started receiving IMs of three different kinds:
- Some asking him how he can be so dishonest and bad person being partnered and “in the market” (i mean “available” for SLex).
- Some others flirting and well, trying to go further.
- Some others saying: “Oh, if you are available i presume your partner is too. Can i contact him? Is he available too?”.
When Ken told me this story i was some between laughing and surprised of how rude people can be. About the first option, well, i would respond some like: “Who the fu** you think you are to judge me? Why you are presuming i’m here for SLex? Why you are supposing i’m cheating my partner? What the hell you know about my relationship?”
The second, well, is more usual and, in my opinion, acceptable, of course, with respect.
The third one was almost unbelievable, i mean, is SO RUDE!!! It has all the bad things in the first option, but is even worse someway, is like saying “You’re not good enough for me… but can i fu** your partner?”.
Ken was really upset, when he told me i started laughing becuase i saw first the funny side of it. Finally i saw the reasons for him to be sad and gave him a hug.
So, now you know a bit more of the “flesh market”, be careful, you can be the next victim.
Adam and Steve
Some days ago I was talking with some friends during a “shopping hair” exploration. After joking about a lot of things someone mentioned that “God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve” sentence, and then I thought it may be a fun idea to make my version, inspired in the work “Adam and Eve” painted in 1507 by Albretch Durer and now in the Museo Nacional del Prado in Madrid.
This is a joke, because i think humour is the best way to fight against some intolerant people… Well, is not only a question of humour, is just that intolerant people are so ridiculous that sometimes is better to laugh than to be angry.
Always though respect for others life and beliefs is important, but, sincerely, someone that is too worried about who the others go to bed with and dedicates his energies to spread just hate and pain doesn’t deserve my respect. So to all that religious extremists i say: “It was Adam and Steve!”.
