The transformation of Raul Crimson
Next October 26th will be my second rezzday! Don’t know why but having a second rezzday in a Second Life sounds like magical or something.
I was using the same shape for the last two years, was really used to it and even i was seeing some things i was not liking in my old shape change shape is something i find like hard.
Finally my dear Khamudy Mannonen made a new shape just for me, some like his own vision of me. This is the result of the “transformation”.
“Old Raul” at left, “New Raul” at right. I adapted a bit the shape to me, but is mainly the one Khamudy made. I’d like to remark specially his good work in the face and in the waist. I really LOVE my new shape for more than one reason, first, is a really special gift, is like a portrait one can wear, is how someone i really love sees me, and second, i think Kham made a GREAT work on it.
Anyway, and now that i can do pools, i’m curious about your opinion:
crossworlds in Florence
Second Life is part of my life, not a parallel reality, not another world… for me is part of my world and my life. Not only a place where i can have fun, or create, or explore and get surprised by creation of others, is also a place where i met (and meet every day) wonderful people, fun, caring and creative.
In the pic, two of my best friends, Ganymedes Costagravas (who i met in RL some month ago) and Khamudy Mannonen.
This next Friday i’m going to meet RL some of that wonderful people, in Florence.
There is an exhibition about Second Life photography and creation in Florence and some friends decided to go together. Khamudy Mannonen, Silverdrake Sparrow, Keiko Morigi, Luther Caffagno, Pier Temple and Pilgrim Miles (and me, Raul Crimson and possibly some more people), all we will have some great days together. It will be a total “crossworld” week! SL meet RL!
You can imagine how excited i am! After the days in Florence i will write a post telling my impressions, the funny stuff and all.

Crazy Carnival of Discounts… soon
After two years in Second Life is easy to have a lot of stuff… old and new… that you don’t need anymore.
A couple of weeks ago some friends and me were talking about having a Yard Sale, but we wanted it to be also a fun place. After some work we made a Carnival!!! Something simple but quite fun. A big tent with all the stuff for sale, a Carousel, some attractions (including a 7Seas Fishing spot).
About the stuff for sale, well, really a bit of all: from clothing from prestigious brands like Redgrave, BareRose, … to furniture. Animations, jewelry, shoes, landscaping (trees, animals, …). Also some “Adult” stuff (body attachments, BDSM toys, …).
The opening of the Yard Sale will be next sunday October 12 at 01:00PM SLT (check the Event published in Second Life), until then the plot is closed, just sellers can entry, this way the first who arrives on Sunday will have ALL the stuff available.
The sellers are Khamudy Mannonen, Ganymedes Costagravas, Silverdrake Sparrow, Eric Quimby and two friends more who are working on boxing stuff.

Forgetting and remembering…
Lately I was having some like… how to say it?… like some existential doubts kinda: “what for all that?”… I’m sure you know what i mean. I mean asking oneself questions like: “Why i like to create images?”, “Why i like to post them in Flickr?”, “Do i need to see all that stupid dramas around (even are not related to me)?”, …
For all that was not making images later, just a few ones, or just some RL pics to share only with friends in Flickr.
Yesterday had a long conversation with my dear Khamudy about all this, and was so good, feel relieved someway expressing all my thoughts about that. This conversation helped me to find again my reasons and the passion of making images, of sharing my vision on Second Life.
